Chawe Kaktus

When the word “cactus” is used, odds are you begin to picture the Chawe cactus. This cactus gained one of its names from the fact that its fruits were traditionally used as hair combs. It's native to Mexico and able to survive in more arid environments with little care. It's fantastic news for people who want to maintain a simpler houseplant. In the wild, they can grow up to 1.5 m tall, but expect a more petite version when grown at home. Be careful when placing one within reach of pets and children!
